Speak Up

Every person—regardless of their job role—shares a common responsibility in promoting a positive work culture. Therefore, we must all speak up when we have questions or concerns about our ethical culture.

Please use the Matthews International Ethics Reporting System to report misconduct that you observe (i.e., vandalism, harassment, drug abuse, IT security, theft, discrimination, safety issues, itc.) even if you are not sure whether it is cause for concern.  All submissions will be reviewed and responded to in a timely and appropriate manner.

In addition to the online web portal, these simple intake channels will also allow you to easily, confidentially and anonymously report ethics concerns:

  • For U.S.-based employees, call or text a Convercent call center representative:

    • Call toll free at 1.800.461.9330

    • Send a text message to 412.528.6012

  • For non-U.S. based employees, call a Convercent call center representative and language interpreter at +1.720.514.4400. The call center supports more than 300+ languages. International toll-free numbers and dialing instructions can be on this web portal.

  • And you always have the option to discuss, in person, with your immediate manager or local HR representative

A Message from the CEO, Joe Bartolacci

We must Act with Courage and Integrity so that we live our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and always do what is right.

When it comes to acting with courage and integrity, one of my key goals and ultimate responsibilities is to help create and foster the best possible work environment for everyone in our organization. I believe we should all have comfort in knowing we work in a safe, secure and ethical workplace.

Every person—regardless of their job role—shares a common responsibility in promoting a positive work culture by reporting suspected misconduct. To that end, I am excited to announce the launch of our new, modern ethics reporting solution, Matthews International Ethics Reporting System.

You can use the Matthews International Ethics Reporting System to report suspected misconduct that you observe (i.e., vandalism, harassment, drug abuse, IT security, theft, discrimination, safety issues, etc.), even if you are not sure whether it is cause for concern. All submissions will be reviewed and responded to in a timely and appropriate manner.

I, along with all members of our executive team, certainly hope you feel comfortable bringing forward potential ethical issues or concerns. Your input is essential in supporting a positive and ethical organizational culture throughout Matthews. Further, we welcome your suggestions on areas where we can improve.

If you have any questions about the Matthews International Ethics Reporting System, please contact your local HR representative.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Joe
